This is kind of like the "Obey" and "America 2009" post. Tragic what do you think is wrong with tv? The average American has an erratic, erotic bond with their idiot-box. If watching tv was an addiction, I would never get out of rehab. Did you know tragic In America, there is no bigger sin than not owning a television. Also you can get a pizza delivered to your house faster than you can get an ambulance.
"What is really precious to the average American is not his freedom or his honor or the future of his race, but his pay check. He complained when the System began busing his kids to Black schools 20 years ago, but he was allowed to keep his station wagon and his fiberglass speedboat, so he didn't fight... He complained when they took away his guns five years ago, but he still had his color TV and his backyard barbecue, so he didn't fight... And he complains today when the Blacks rape his women at will and the System makes him show an identity pass to buy groceries or pick up his laundry, but he still has a full belly most of the time, so he won't fight... He hasn't an idea in his head that wasn't put there by his TV set... That, unfortunately, is our average White American..."
TV deludes peoples' ideas of life. It sucks the zeal out of life and refocuses it on the box in the living room. In some cases, depending on the programming and the individual, it makes people feel bad about themselves. The US life expectancy was just increased to 78.2 years, big fucking deal, a lot of those years are spent on the couch eating Doritos. TV is the biggest, most efficient propaganda machine ever. It makes people complacent. "I hate my job, I'm past due on bills, my life generally sucks, but I'm going to watch the new (insert generically formulated sitcome here) tonight and relax for a little while." Escapism at it's finest. At least if you're going to drug yourself do it right and stick them up your nose. Still looking for weapons of mass destruction? I know exactly where they are.
